Prior to assisting Dr. Roth-Roemer with the day-to-day duties for Intuitive Psychology, PLC, Angela was an administrative assistant and front desk receptionist for a chiropractic office in the valley. She is an Arizona native, just like Dr. Roth-Roemer! Angela looks forward to growing professionally with Dr. Roth-Roemer's practice, while continuing her studies at Arizona State University.
On September 12, 2015, Dr. Roth-Roemer spoke to a TEDx Fountain Hills audience about the healing power of compassion in our daily lives, in our communities and in our world. She reminds us that all we have to do is remember to choose compassion. #CompassionHeals ... Pass it on!
You can watch Dr. Roth-Roemer's 18 minute TEDx Fountain Hills talk about the healing power of compassion now, by clicking below.
Holidays are notorious for bringing difficult family dynamics to the forefront, testing our patience and our tolerance. Face the holidays ready for anything with this course on compassion...Ancient wisdom as well as current research tells us that compassion has the ability to heal our emotional wounds. Having compassion for those we love is typically not too hard. Having compassion in difficult situations and with ourselves can be a little trickier. In this 90 minute workshop learn how to successfully practice compassion even during the toughest of circumstances.
Sometimes we may find ourselves agreeing to do things that we really do not want to do, taking on problems that are not ours, or tolerating rude behavior because we would rather avoid conflict than stand up for ourselves. Having clear boundaries, those personal lines that mark the things for which we are responsible, is crucial to a healthy, balanced life. Problems tend to arise when we forget when to say yes, and how to say no. In this 90 minute workshop we will discuss how to strengthen your personal boundaries in the new year for a happier, healthier you!
Thank you for your interest in becoming a patient at Intuitive Psychology, PLC. It is our goal to make sure your needs are taken care of in an efficient manner. We would like to make the process of becoming a new patient as easy as possible for you.
You may either call the office manager for a new patient packet or you may download the forms here to print out and complete.
We will need to have all completed forms in our office one week prior to your first appointment.
This form covers my financial policies for self-pay patients as well as Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield patients. Please be certain that you understand our billing policies prior to making your first appointment.
This form allows me to communicate with your physicians, so that I can coordinate your care effectively. You will need to fill out a separate form for each physician that you’d like us to communicate with.
This form lets me know who you are. Please fill this out completely. In Section 1, please be sure to include your email address if you would like for us to send you email reminders about your appointments; we promise that we will NOT send any unwanted “SPAM” emails. Only fill out Section 2 or 3 if you are a Blue Cross Blue Shield patient, otherwise there is no need for you to fill out any insurance information.
I am out-of-network providers for all insurance companies, except Blue Cross. I will provide you with invoices that you can submit to your insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement or for your health-care flexible spending account reimbursement. If you have Blue Cross, we will bill for you. All patients, other than those with Blue Cross, will be asked to pay by credit card at time of service and will be reimbursed directly by their insurance carriers according to their carrier’s policies. We have compiled a tip sheet to help you navigate your insurance reimbursement process. Our fees closely match most insurance company reimbursement rates. I believe you will see that the psychological services you obtain will be worth your reimbursement efforts.
Intuitive Psychology, PLC is not a contracted Medicare provider. Medicare patients can be seen on a fee for service basis, but due to Medicare regulations, will NOT be able to obtain reimbursement by Medicare.
Patients are responsible for payment of missed or canceled appointments with less than 24 hour notice for the full contracted rate of their appointment. Insurance plans do not cover missed or canceled appointments.
From time to time, we all need a little extra help. Here is some useful contact information, should you need some extra assistance or information.
